Mike O'Malley approached us in late 2007 with regard to totally revamping his GPZ, which had been fitted with a GPZ1000RX engine and ZZR600 forks and wheels. As a vision which he had held since owning an immaculate 900R a few years previously, he had the raw material and chose us to "finish" the bike to the highest possible standard, whilst retaining the overall silhouette of the GPZ900R-A4 model.
Every nut bolt and washer was removed and restored, with chosen specialists taking care of the paintwork, the stainless one off exhaust and the mechanicals. We took care of the finishing of the rolling chassis, the restoration of the engine and all the polishing and plating. The finished result was exhibited at the Shepton Mallet Classic Bike Show.
